Proprietary clones are sold in flowering clumps of plants, with identification and described metrics. The sale combines with the assignment of copyright to the buyer and the guarantee of exclusive possession of the clone. At the buyer’s request, it is possible to register a clone in the American Hemerocallis Society under the name given by the buyer.
