Establishment of a nursery programme

• Determine the adaptability of varieties of evergreen and semievergreen daylilies to the Polish climate
  • survival of the winter period (significant decreases in temperature, thick snow cover)
  • the impact of climate change on the growth, flowering and perianth morphology, as well as plant fertility and fecundity
• Determination of the varying potientials for plants grown from seed in Poland, and those produced vegetatively, to adapt to the Polish climate and environment.
• Promotion of daylilies and knowledge concerning the progress of daylily cultivation across the world
• Propagation of ideas deriving from daylily cultivation in Poland, and the registration of Polish varieties in international registers
