Thanks to the efforts of the Club&#8217;s President, Jerzy Bodalski, the meeting was integrated into the Polish edition of the international program &#8220;Fascination of Plants Day&#8221;. On May 16 &#8211; 17, the SGGW Arboretum hosted the Club, and the participants were welcomed by its Director, Piotr Banaszczak.<\/p>\n<p>On the first day, as part of the Conference &#8220;Progress in Breeding Polish Daylily Varieties&#8221;, the following papers were presented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n\u00a0\t<\/p>\n<li>Emil Gwizda\u0142a: &#8220;Progress in diploid daylily breeding&#8221;<\/li>\n<p>\u00a0\t<\/p>\n<li>Jerzy Bodalski: &#8220;The anatomy of progress in daylily breeding&#8221;<\/li>\n<p>\u00a0\t<\/p>\n<li>Artur Jasi\u0144ski: &#8220;Non-standard methods of introducing progress in daylily breeding&#8221;<\/li>\n<p>\u00a0\t<\/p>\n<li>Tadeusz Kosmus: &#8220;Proposal for the intensification of fertilization, protection, and pollination stimulation in daylily breeding&#8221;<\/li>\n<p>\u00a0\t<\/p>\n<li>Micha\u0142 Jadczyk: &#8220;Poland&#8217;s place in daylily organizations worldwide&#8221;<\/li>\n<p>\u00a0\t<\/p>\n<li>Andrzej Celichowski: &#8220;The procedure for registering daylilies with the American Hemerocallis Society&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following the discussion on the presentations, at the end of the day, the participants gathered for a gala dinner in the beautifully decorated restaurant halls of SGGW.
